Versatility is the name of the game when it comes to a basic black bodysuit. I’ve rounded up 3 of my favorite ways to style a simple fall bodysuit outfit that will take the guesswork out of choosing your look with minimal effort.
Back to Basics…
Using a wardrobe staple like a long sleeve black bodysuit paired with white denim creates a high contrast base outfit with a ton of visual interest.
This simple base outfit can be paired with all of your favorite fall accessories to create different looks in no time! My favorite way to style a fall bodysuit outfit is with layers, so grab your fave cardigans & flannels, and let’s get to it!
Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize…
I love a good rust or cognac accent color, so I’ve styled my fall bodysuit outfit with 3 different looks including these tones. Layers are one of the quickest ways to add interest to an outfit, so cardigans are my number one choice when it comes to my fall outfits. I’ve also been loving a good hat moment lately and they are another great way to give maximum impact with very little effort!
“…grab your fave cardigans & flannels, and let’s get to it!”
This fall (and every fall if we’re being honest) flannels are very much a wardrobe staple, and I’m here for it! I love a pop of color tied around the waist. If you’re feeling a little fluffy some days, it’s a great way to camouflage some parts of the body that some of us are a bit insecure about.
3 ways to style a fall bodysuit outfit:
- Add a pop of color: I’ve used a long duster cardigan to bring some orange to my base black and white outfit.
- Coordinate accessories: Here my outfit is all black and white, but I’ve accessorized with various cognac toned pieces like my hat, belt and shoes.
- Tied around the waist: This look is the most casual; I’ve used a plaid flannel tied around the waist for some visual interest while staying comfortable and easy.

Let’s recap, shall we?
A wardrobe staple like a long sleeve bodysuit can be worn SO MANY different ways and there are endless possibilities. As a result by keeping it simple, and sticking to a similar color palette you can currate a mini capsule wardrobe with one base outfit. I’m a big fan of mixing & matching, and this fall bodysuit outfit is a perfect example of how you can do just that to create a wide variety of looks. I hope you’ve found some style inspo from these tips, and I’d love to see what you come up with! Tag me on Instagram or drop my @ in the comments!
