The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship…
I can’t believe I finally decided to take the plunge into the massive world that is blogging, but I couldn’t feel better about it.
I’m sure everyone is thinking to themselves, “come on Em, why now?”, and to that, my answer is why NOT now?
I could say things like: I was tired of waiting for my life to start -or- I felt like life was passing me by. I could, because those things were and are true. But instead I have decided to do something about it. I know, I know, the blogosphere is over-saturated. Everyone and their sister/cousin/friend wants to become an influencer. So what? I’ll never know if I don’t try right?
I was scrolling through my Instagram feed the other day and accidentally clicked on an old acquaintance’s profile. This particular person always inspired feelings of jealousy and regret when I saw what she posted. She seemed so happy, making so much progress in life. I wanted to be that person too. That was when I noticed the quote in her BIO… “You are the catalyst to your own happiness you know…” and it hit me like a ton of bricks! She (or whoever coined that phrase) was so incredibly right!!! No one is going to fix this mess that I’ve made, no one but me…so I decided to make something marvelous happen.
I am so excited for this new journey and can’t wait to take it with you!!!
